It was fall and winter of 2015-2016. I drove my motor home to Miami, Florida, to spend a winter where the weather was warm, and the skies full of sun. That was the situation for the most part, although I saw more rain there than I'd seen the entire previous year in other parts of Florida. So, I had to make the best of the time I had for photos and stories. This journey began with Edin Chavez, a great photographer and guide when we went to the Everglades. Edin had several examples of Miami skyline photos from Watson Island in Biscayne Bay which I had admired. This inspired my friendship with him and his partner, Jaci Pena, and we enjoyed some excellent photo experiences. Miami is a very cosmopolitan city, with a beautiful skyline and I have many pleasant memories of my time there. Hop on the train and let's have a look. My journey includes Everglades, Miami skyline, and Little Havana.
