Ali has a mechanical streak in her psyche. She says she'd love to make lamps, or weld. Then she mentions scupting, but building things really seems to hold her attention. When I was leaving on my sabbatical from Santa Rosa Beach, Ali was in the process of looking for some help to rescue some large pieces of metal work that she had a vision for as a project. I'm wondering how that came out. A visit to her studio reveals glimpses of these projects.
